Special entry conditions

• At least a secondary vocational qualification in the catering field and at least two years’ work experience in the bartending field, which the candidate must prove by means of a letter of reference from an employer or a contract of employment, or
• at least a secondary vocational qualification and at least three years’ work experience in the bartending field, which the candidate must prove by means of a letter of reference from an employer or a contract of employment.

Special entry conditions

• education at least at SQF level 5 or
• education at least at SQF level 4 and 3 years of work experience as a cashier in any field and
• proof of impunity – that the candidate has not been sentenced to imprisonment for crimes against life and body, human health, property, economy, legal transactions, official duty and public authority or public order, which may not be older than 3 months

Special entry conditions

• At least a secondary vocational qualification in a catering-related field and at least three years’ work experience in the catering or event management/organisation field, which the candidate must prove by means of a letter of reference from an employer or a contract of employment, or
• at least a secondary vocational qualification and at least five years’ work experience in the catering or event management/organisation field, which the candidate must prove by means of a letter of reference from an employer or a contract of employment.

Special entry conditions

• At least a secondary vocational qualification in the catering field and at least two years’ work experience as a cheese sommelier, which the candidate must prove by means of a letter of reference from an employer or a contract of employment, or
• at least a secondary vocational qualification and at least three years’ work experience as a cheese sommelier, which the candidate must prove by means of a letter of reference from an employer or a contract of employment.

Special entry conditions

• Education at least at SQF level 5 and
• at least three years of work experience in the hotel industry, as evidenced by the candidate’s employment contract or other employment contract and the employer’s letter of reference, and
• Knowledge of foreign languages:
  • 1. English – knowledge at least at a level comparable to B1 (which the candidate proves with a final certificate of secondary general education for the subject of English or with a general or vocational matura in English at a level of at least B1, with another valid certificate for a level of at least B1, with a certificate of successfully completed at least primary education where classes are conducted in English, issued in Slovenia or abroad) and
  • 2. foreign language – optional, knowledge at least at the level comparable to B1 (which the candidate proves with a final certificate of secondary general education for the selected foreign language or passed general or vocational matura in the selected language at level B1 or other publicly valid certificate for level at least B1 or with a certificate of successfully completed at least primary education, where classes are conducted in the selected language or for a selected subject, issued in Slovenia or abroad)

• At least upper secondary vocational education in the field of hospitality or
• at least upper secondary vocational education in any field and three years of work experience in the field of cooking.

At least three years of work experience in the field of cooking, which the candidate can demonstrate by:

• the employer’s reference letter, which contains a description of the work and tasks of the position and acquired competencies, knowledge and skills and
• an employment contract or other work contract showing the aforementioned references.

• at least a secondary vocational qualification and eight years’ work experience in the catering sector.

  • foreign language – optional, knowledge at a level comparable to B1 (which the candidate proves with a final certificate of upper secondary general education for the selected foreign language or passed general or vocational matura in the selected language at level B1 or another publicly certified certificate for level at least B1 or with a certificate of successfully completed at least elementary education, where classes are conducted in the selected language or for a selected subject, issued in Slovenia or abroad)

• at least upper secondary or upper secondary technical education and
• 5 years of work experience in the field of accommodation establishments and
• Knowledge of foreign languages:
  • English – knowledge at a level comparable to B1 (as evidenced by the candidate with a final certificate of upper secondary education for the subject of English or with a general or vocational matura in English at least B1, with another valid certificate for level at least B1, with a certificate of successful completion of at least B1 primary education where instruction is given in English, issued in Slovenia or abroad)
  • foreign language – optional, knowledge at a level comparable to B1 (which the candidate proves with a final certificate of upper secondary education for the selected foreign language or passed general or vocational matura in the selected language at level B1 or other publicly certified certificate for level at least B1 or with a certificate of successful completion of at least elementary education, where classes are conducted in the selected language or for a selected subject, issued in Slovenia or abroad)

• at least five years of work experience in the field of hospitality, which the candidate proves with an employment contract, another employment contract and the employer’s reference letter
• Knowledge of foreign languages:
  • English – knowledge at the level of comparable B1 (which the candidate proves with a final certificate of secondary general education for the subject of English or with passed general or vocational matura in English at least B1, with another valid certificate for level at least B1, with a certificate of successful completion of at least basic education where instruction is given in English, issued in Slovenia or abroad)
  • foreign language – optional, knowledge at the level comparable to B1 (which the candidate proves with a final certificate of secondary general education for the selected foreign language or passed general or vocational matura in the selected language at level B1 or with another valid certificate for level at least B1 or certificates of successful completion of at least primary education, where classes are conducted in the selected language or for a selected subject, issued in Slovenia or abroad)

• At least a lower vocational qualification,
• two years’ work experience as a pizza cook.

• At least upper secondary vocational education in the field of cooking or confectionery and at least two years of work experience in the field of preparation of desserts, which the candidate proves with the employer’s reference letter or
• at least upper secondary vocational education in any field and at least three years of work experience in the preparation of desserts, which the candidate proves with the employer’s reference letter.
