• Education at least at level SOK 2 and at least 5 years of experience in the field of working with people or at least one year of experience in the field of home care for the elderly, disabled and other persons with special needs, which the candidate proves with authentic documents that show the time and content of work performed (for example: letters of reference, reports on work performed with the signature of the responsible person, contracts, proof of student work, statements, etc.) and
• completed a verified training programme in social care in the field of home care (Rules on standards and norms of social care services, Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, no. 45/10, 28/11, 104/11, 111/13, 102/15, 76/17, 54/19, 81/19, 203/21, 54/22 and 159/22).

• uper secondary general or uper secondary technical education in any field and 5 years of work experience in the field of hospitality or
• uper secondary vocational education in any field and 8 years of work experience in the field of hospitality and
• Knowledge of foreign languages:
  • English – knowledge at a level comparable to B1 (as evidenced by the candidate with a final certificate of upper secondary general education for the subject of English or with a general or vocational matura in English at least B1, with another valid certificate for at least B1, with a certificate of successful completion of at least B1 elementary education where instruction is given in English, issued in Slovenia or abroad)
  • foreign language – optional, knowledge at a level comparable to B1 (which the candidate proves with a final certificate of upper secondary general education for the selected foreign language or passed general or vocational matura in the selected language at level B1 or another publicly certified certificate for level at least B1 or with a certificate of successfully completed at least elementary education, where classes are conducted in the selected language or for a selected subject, issued in Slovenia or abroad)

  • English – knowledge at a level comparable to B1 (as evidenced by the candidate with a final certificate of upper secondary education for the subject of English or with a general or vocational matura in English at least B1, with another valid certificate for level at least B1, with a certificate of successful completion of at least B1 primary education where instruction is given in English, issued in Slovenia or abroad)
  • foreign language – optional, knowledge at a level comparable to B1 (which the candidate proves with a final certificate of upper secondary education for the selected foreign language or passed general or vocational matura in the selected language at level B1 or other publicly certified certificate for level at least B1 or with a certificate of successful completion of at least elementary education, where classes are conducted in the selected language or for a selected subject, issued in Slovenia or abroad)

• at least upper secondary general education or upper secondary vocational education, and
• at least five years of work experience in the field of hospitality, which the candidate proves with an employment contract, another employment contract and the employer’s reference letter
• Knowledge of foreign languages:
  • English – knowledge at the level of comparable B1 (which the candidate proves with a final certificate of secondary general education for the subject of English or with passed general or vocational matura in English at least B1, with another valid certificate for level at least B1, with a certificate of successful completion of at least basic education where instruction is given in English, issued in Slovenia or abroad)
  • foreign language – optional, knowledge at the level comparable to B1 (which the candidate proves with a final certificate of secondary general education for the selected foreign language or passed general or vocational matura in the selected language at level B1 or with another valid certificate for level at least B1 or certificates of successful completion of at least primary education, where classes are conducted in the selected language or for a selected subject, issued in Slovenia or abroad)

• At least 6 months of work experience in the field of cleaning premises, which the candidate proves with authentic documents (for example: letters of reference, reports on the work performed with the signature of the responsible person, contracts, proof of student work, etc.), which show the time and content of the work performed works.

• at least three years of work experience in the field of construction or electrical engineering or electronics or computer science or mechanical engineering or performing housekeeping work, thereby demonstrating the competences of the profession described in the professional standard Housekeeper 03400340 and proving them with an employment contract or a report on the work performed with a client’s reference or an employer’s certificate or a reference on a completed project (it is permitted to submit several different certificates that together demonstrate three years of work experience)

• a successfully passed examination on safe operation of a chainsaw,
• swimming proficiency test (Candidates must attain Proficiency level 5 – Swimmer: Jump into the water feet first, swim for 25 metres in one direction, turn round while swimming and swim towards the finish, making a total of 50 metres. While swimming the second 25 metres the swimmer will stop in the middle of the pool and perform a safety exercise – from a chest-down position move through the upright position to a chest-up position – and then continue swimming to the finish).
