Steps for a company that wants an NVQ

If the desired NVQ is not yet prepared and you would like to prepare a new one, your role is primarily:

• The submission of a request for a new NVQ
• Participation in the national working group for the preparation of the NVQ catalogue

The working group for the preparation of the NVQ catalogue is methodologically coordinated by the Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Vocational Education and Training, which provides comprehensive professional, technical, and administrative support in the preparation of the NVQ catalogue. The institute also provides all necessary assistance in the preparation and submission of a request for the preparation of a new NVQ.

The preparation of new NVQs – from the request by a company to prepare the NVQ to its official implementation – is achieved through quick procedures. The timing of the preparation of the NVQ depends primarily on the coordination and engagement of social partners in the preparation of the NVQ.
